This notice describes the current development version of APS StarX at apsstarx.com. It will be updated before account registration, payments or personalised advertising are activated.
Channel searches and public data
When you request a channel check or creator search, your query is sent to our backend and used to request public channel and video information from YouTube API Services. Results can include channel names, video titles, thumbnails, descriptions and public statistics. We do not request access to your private YouTube account in this version.
Email OTP accounts
When registration is enabled, requesting a code submits your email and, for registration, your name, country and selected channels to our server. Our email hosting provider delivers the OTP. Codes expire after 10 minutes and only a keyed hash is stored. Verified accounts retain email, name, country, accepted terms version and registered channel identifiers, titles and access status. No mobile number is collected. Email verification does not prove channel ownership.
Storage and retention
Your language preference is saved in this browser so future visits use the same language. You can change it using the language switch or clear browser site data.
A secure, HttpOnly session cookie keeps you signed in, with a maximum session duration of 24 hours. Signing out invalidates the session. Expired OTP records and keyed rate-limit identifiers are removed by scheduled cleanup; account data remains until account deletion. The server stores registered channel identifiers and titles but does not persist video statistics. Old browser trial values may remain from earlier versions and can be cleared in browser site settings. Hosting providers may maintain connection logs; their retention must be confirmed before launch.
External services
Pages use Google Fonts, and public YouTube thumbnails can be loaded from Google's servers. Some tools load libraries or assets from external providers. These requests expose normal connection information such as IP address and browser details to the receiving service. See Google's Privacy Policy.
Affiliate links
Amazon links contain our affiliate tracking identifier. Clicking them takes you to Amazon, which applies its own privacy and tracking practices. The current carousel rotates manually selected links; it is not personalised using your search history. We do not send your registration-form details to Amazon. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
Your choices and contact
You can stop using the site, clear browser site data and choose whether to open third-party links. Account deletion requests must be handled by the operator. A verified operator contact, privacy-request channel and account-data retention process are still pending and must be published before registration is enabled. See our contact status.
